Ecosystem Cleanup Volunteering

Women in Science Society at San Diego State University (WSS)

Join the San Diego Habitat Conservancy to remove invasive plants and trash from our ecosystem from 9am-11am on Sunday, November 9th. The priority plant here is an invasive ice plant (Carpobrotus edulis), which has grown over native vegetation. We will be meeting at the Sweetwater Vistas Preserve in Spring Valley (~20 min drive from SDSU). Parking is along Sweetwater Springs Blvd and can be limited, so carpooling is suggested. Volunteers are encouraged to wear close toed shoes and bring water. All other materials will be provided.
